And whether your little ones are in it for the chocolate, the photo ops, or the thrill of the hunt, this year’s lineup of local Easter events is stacked with joy. So grab a basket, throw on your favorite pastel sweater, and let’s dive into some of the best places to make springtime memories right here in our own backyard.

1. Oakland Gardens: Easter on the Farm at Green Meadows

Baby animals, hayrides, and baskets full of treats—Green Meadows Farm in Alley Pond Park has it all. Whiskers the Bunny will be making his rounds, and kids can meet goats, chicks, and other farm favorites while they hunt for eggs.

2. LIC: Bunny Playtime at Two The Moon

For a quieter, cozy morning with the Easter Bunny, this one’s a hidden gem. Two The Moon’s family-friendly event includes egg decorating, sensory crafts, and coffee for the grown-ups. It’s ideal for toddlers and younger kids.

3. LIC: The Eggstravaganza at Gantry Plaza

Hosted by Renew Queens and Wellspring Church, this free event at Gantry Park brings the energy! Live music, games, crafts, and age-specific egg hunts by the waterfront make it a family favorite. Just make sure to register in advance for the egg hunt portion!

4. Bayside: A Sweet Tradition with NBCA

At Bayside Fields, the North Bayside Civic Association is hosting an Easter celebration full of community spirit. There’s a bunny meet-and-greet, a petting zoo, and a beautiful reminder to give back: bring a canned food item to support the local food pantry.

5. Astoria: Bunny Bash at Bohemian Hall
